While opening new tabs, the browser
displays by default, an ‘about:Tabs’
information page. It is unnecessary and
slows down the operation.
Most times you like to directly access an address in a newly opened tab; it goes fastest when you open an empty tab. It can be set quickly via options. For that open ‘Tools | Internet options’. In the ‘General’ tab, click the ‘Settings’ under the ‘Tabs’ column. Now in the combo box head to ‘When a new tab is opened, open:’ and set it to ‘A blank page’. Confi rm both open dialogue boxes with ‘OK’ respectively.
