You can set up a small studio with
just a few simple tools. But the studio
alone does not ensure good photos.
Ideally, you should photograph manually and deactivate automatic ISO. Select the minimum ISO value provided by the camera, e.g. ISO 100. Since you often work with fl ash, set the shortest possible fl ash synchronization time and select an equal or longer shutter time. Then defi ne an optimum aperture for portraits, which is mostly ‘f/8’ or ‘f/11’. Now regulate the fl ash intensity till the photos are optimally lit. A few test snaps are necessary for this. Moreover, you can also set the while balance manually.
