applications are updated very rarely.
This is how you can reduce the update intervals: open ‘Start | Control Panel’ and click ‘Network and Internet’ and ‘Internet Options’. Click on ‘Settings’ in the ‘Feeds and Web Slices’ area of the ‘Contents’ tab. Ensure that there is a checkmark in front of ‘Check Feeds and Slices automatically for updates’. Defi ne how frequently the operating system should download updates with the help of the ‘Frequency’ combination box. This frequency is set to once a day by default. You can shorten the interval as per your wishes to ‘1 hour’ or even ‘30 minutes’ for instance. Then close all the opened dialog boxes with ‘OK’.
